第53回グラミー賞

音

特にグラミー賞について意識的だった訳ではないけれど、今回は日本人の受賞者が4人出たということで、何かとメディアで取り上げられているようなので気が付いた、そんな感じです。内田光子なんて、とっくにもらってると思ってた。

ところで、今回はポール･マッカートニーやビートルズも受賞したという話を聞いて、？？どんな部門で？？と思ったのです。

ちょっとググっても分からなかったので、グラミー賞サイトのノミネート情報を覗いてみました。各部門毎に全ノミネート作品と受賞作品が分かるんですねー。便利便利。

で、ポールはBest Solo Rock Vocal Performanceで受賞。一昨年末に出たDVD「Good Evening New York City」の「Helter Skelter」で。

ビートルズの方は、Best Historical Albumで受賞。受賞作品が「The Original Studio Recordings」って何よ？と思ったら、2009年リマスターのスタッフ列記されているので、これはリマスタリングでの受賞なのだね。


それにしても、グラミー賞って何部門あるの？いままで考えた事もなかったけれど、Best Historical Albumなんてナゾな部門もあるぐらいだから、時代が下るにつれ部門数も増えて、今やたくさんあるんだろうな。

と思い、数えてみました。2011年時点で、109部門。
